Joe & Allyson ~ Gaylord Texan Resort Wedding

Joe & Allyson are married! This beautiful couple got married this past Saturday at the Gaylord Texan Resort. Remember the wonderful icepocalypse we just had this past weekend & how icy the roads were? Yep, that’s the correct weekend! But no ice was going to stop this wedding! I left super early and made it safely to the Gaylord. And thankfully most of their guests had spent the night at the hotel, so the icy conditions didn’t cause any delays.

I met Joe & Allyson at my husband’s company Christmas party a couple of years ago and knew that they were very laid back & great to be around. Joe and his kids got ready at their home, so I spent the afternoon with Allyson as she was getting ready to walk down the aisle. Their wedding was very intimate and included family for the most part. Their ceremony took place at Mission Plaza inside the Gaylord. The floral arrangements were beautiful & the atmosphere was great. After the ceremony ended, they had a cocktail hour at Mission Plaza. Then we all headed to Bob’s Steak and Chop House where they had a private room for a yummy dinner. It was such a perfect wedding day!
