Where do I even begin?? I absolutely adore Andrew & Liz and have had such a great time getting to know more about them over the past year. Their engagement session in the fall of 2012 was one of my favorite sessions. After their session, I was keeping my fingers crossed they would choose me as their wedding photographer. And they did!
Their wedding was held in Georgetown, TX at Gabriel Springs Event Center. It is such a great venue! Their ceremony was held outdoors since the weather was amazing. The reception was indoors at the same venue with the perfect mix of rustic and romantic details.
Andrew & Liz are such kind-hearted, genuinely loving people. Being around their friends and family for their wedding was amazing. Every single person lit up when they saw these guys and it was easy to see where they got their kind spirits from. As Liz got her dress on, her bridesmaids turned on “Isn’t She Lovely” and started singing to her. Of course, this lead to crying & hugs from Liz and most everyone else in the room. She was absolutely breathtaking! Then came one of my favorite moments during their wedding day: their First Look. Andrew was absolutely beaming at Liz & kept kissing her hand and hugging her tight as he told her how beautiful she is. And as he saw her come down the aisle, he beamed just as big as he did when he first saw her earlier in the day.
I could honestly go on & on about how amazing their families are and what gracious hosts they were – but I know you’re itching to see more from their day. So I’ll end with a big Thank You… for having me be a tiny part of your wedding day & making it such a fun event! I can’t wait to see you all again!
