A few weeks ago, I traveled to Carlsbad, NM to visit my hometown. It is definitely different from Dallas! While there, I had several sessions and this was the first one. I’ve known Jennifer for years…. probably too many years to admit for fear of sounding old. 😉 We sat by each other in high school English class and constantly got in trouble for talking. Shocking, right?! After graduation, we lost touch as many people do but did manage to stay in contact through Facebook! I had seen photos of her family online, but hadn’t ever met them before. It was great to finally meet them in person! They are big time Cubs fans and she wanted something unique for their session. When she mentioned they would be wearing their Cubs jerseys, I suggested we do it at a baseball field. That only makes sense, right? 🙂 We met up early in the morning for their session and had so much fun! Savannah was a little diva and loved being in front of the camera. John was a little hesitant and shy at first, but warmed up after a little time had passed (and after I gave him candy). Hah! Here’s a little peek into their family session!
