When Kathy contacted me and asked if I would possibly travel to their home located about 2 hours southwest of Dallas, I was so excited. They have over 37 acres of land and it is so peaceful & beautiful! And what made it even better is that Kathy is the mom of one of my favorite families in the whole wide world! I’ve been lucky enough to photograph Kathy’s daughter, Natalie, & her husband along with their adoooorable little one since he was 4 months old. Now he is nearly two and is getting so big! They invited me & my family to come down for the day which was super sweet. 🙂 My older son certainly loved it and is STILL talking about it!
Kathy & Gene were so welcoming & treated us like family. We spent the morning wandering their property & taking photos. As you’ll see, the clouds were very ominous & the rain came just a short time after we finished. We did, however, get to squeeze in a HAY RIDE before the rain hit! Pretty sure the adults had just as much fun as the kiddos did! Kathy & Gene – thank you SO much for treating us to such a fun day & allowing my whole family to join in on the fun! We didn’t even catch you catching us on some shots. You can definitely see who is in charge at our place. He’s a 2 1/2 feet tall, blue eyed, blond heart melter. Thank you for your sweet remarks.
