When the opportunity came for me to do Wright’s newborn photos, I was beyond thrilled. This baby boy is such a special little guy! Wright has the most wonderful mommy & daddy and it warms my heart to be able to call such wonderful people my friends. Before I go any further, I should probably give some back story.
During the pregnancy, it was discovered that Wright had a cleft lip & palette. His mommy and daddy fully embraced this fact and have only had positive things to say. Every tiny piece of him is a blessing and they completely see it that way! Their love for him is more than obvious. Although the pregnancy had several rough patches, Wright was welcomed into this world completely healthy & is doing so well! Before he was born, they did not have a name picked out because they wanted to see his sweet face before they chose a name. At birth, he was given the name Wright Micah. Wright for his mother’s ancestors – the Wright brothers. Micah which means power of God – and they say that is how he arrived. 🙂

MeganWright is such an adorable little guy! Love these pictures! My son was born 6 weeks ago with a cleft lip and palate also and it looks almost exactly like Wright’s. My husband and I are feeling bittersweet about his surgery just like his Momma is (did). I’m wondering if you have any pictures of Wright after his surgery? I would love to see them if possible.
