Garrett & Pepper came all the way to Dallas from Lubbock just for their session this past weekend! And, of course, if you remember the weather on Saturday – you’ll know it was cloudy, rainy, misty, windy and all around BLAH. I kept checking the weather over and over, just wishing & hoping that by some miracle there would be a clear time in the afternoon. And miraculously – it happened! We moved their session up an hour and managed to shoot between the storms! It literally started raining as I was on my way home from the session. Talk about a lucky break!
These two are such a great couple and compliment each other so perfectly. I’ve actually known Garrett for ten years now (WHOA!) from when I was at college at Texas Tech University. I got to hear how wonderful Pepper was over the years and have seen them go through the highest of highs & the lowest of lows. Pepper & I had chatted several times, but this weekend I finally got to spend some real time with the two of them together. It was so much fun and I don’t know when the last time was that I’ve laughed SO hard!
