When Paulette asked me if I would photograph newborn baby Lyor‘s Bris, I was a little hesitant. Bris, or Brit Milah, is the Jewish ceremony when the newborn baby boy is circumcised. I had previously photographed Jewish naming ceremonies for newborn baby girls, but never a Bris! Now, I know what you’re thinking – but don’t worry! This is in no way, shape or form graphic! It was a very nice ceremony & I would do it again in a heartbeat! It was so special getting to be present for this intimate ceremony. Lyor did wonderful the entire time! Here’s a little glimpse into his celebration!
Older brother wouldn’t give a high five, but he was very fast to give a fist bump! 🙂
After the ceremony ended, they served a wonderful celebratory meal. It was SOOO good!
So very thankful that I was able to be a small part of this very special day! 🙂
